Support

Need a hand with Ekome? Most answers are below. If you don't find what you're looking for, write to us — a real person reads every message.

Use the in-app feedback option (Settings → Care). We usually reply within two business days.

Recording and drafts

Tap the record button on the home screen and speak. When you finish, Ekome turns what you said into a finished piece — a note, an email, a post, or a draft — in your own words. If a recording looks like it's still working in the background, give it a moment; long entries take a little longer to transcribe.

If a recording didn't capture, check that the app has microphone permission in your device Settings, then try again.

The free tier

Ekome is free to try: five recordings, up to five minutes each, fully usable. The home screen shows how many you've used. When you reach the limit, you can upgrade to Premium or remove older entries to free up space.

Premium

Premium unlocks unlimited recordings, hour-long sessions, and the curated returns (Sunday Letters, monthly themes, and more). It's a single yearly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.

Managing or cancelling your subscription

iPhone & iPad. Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Ekome. From there you can cancel or change your plan. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Android. Open the Google Play Store → Subscriptions → Ekome to cancel or change your plan.

Restoring a purchase

Already subscribed but not seeing Premium — for example after reinstalling or switching devices? Open Ekome's plan screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you used to subscribe.

Signing in

Sign in with Apple or Google — no passwords, no email codes. If you signed up with one and later use the other with the same email, Ekome keeps you on the same account.

Languages

Speak in English, Hindi, or Hinglish — including switching mid-sentence. Ekome reads it back in the language you spoke.

Your data

Your audio is deleted after transcription by default; you can change retention in Settings. From inside the app you can export a full copy of your data, correct or delete individual entries, mark an entry private, or delete your account. For the full picture, see our Privacy Policy.

Still need help?

Use the in-app feedback option with as much detail as you can — what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened. Screenshots help.
